The Diocese of Tshumbe
His dedication and efforts to support his people ravaged by war.
-Save lives by emergency medical assistance
-Find and pay young doctors to take care of the sick and carry out our Health programs
-Consolidate medical institutions (hospitals and Health Care Centers) for the people
-Fight against malnutrition among small children
-Rescue education in schools and stop the return of illiteracy
-Help refugees of war to survive and return to their homes; and work towards a stable system of food distribution
-Rebuild infrastructures (buildings and equipment) necessary for Health care and education in schools: infrastructures damaged or destroyed by the war.
-Defend and protect girls and women. Support associations that protect women’s rights.
-Promote the culture of peace and reconciliation, especially among the youth.
-Rebuild persons who have been wounded interiorly and give them new hope.

Dix ans d'Episcopat(Pastoral Letter) - 11.09.2008In this Pastoral Letter, Bishop Nicolas Djomo gives an overview of his Episcopacy in the Diocese of Tshumbe, for the ten years during which he has been Shepherd of the people of God in the Diocese of Tshumbe/Democratic Republic of Congo. He also invites all the Christians of the Sankuru Region to get ready for the celebration of the centenary year of Evangelization in that region of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
